چکیده
We derive a theoretical framework for the experimental certification of non-Gaussian features quantum states using double homodyne detection. rank according to recently defined stellar hierarchy and we propose practical Wigner negativity witnesses. simulate various use-cases ranging from fidelity estimation witnessing negativity. Moreover, extend results on robustness states. Our illustrate usefulness detection as measurement scheme retrieving information about continuous-variable states, show that high-order can be carried out experimentally with current technology.1 MoreReceived 9 November 2020Revised 30 April 2021Accepted 5 May 2021DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PRXQuantum.2.020333Published by American Physical Society under terms Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. متن کاملQuantum steering of Gaussian states via non-Gaussian measurements
Quantum steering-a strong correlation to be verified even when one party or its measuring device is fully untrusted-not only provides a profound insight into quantum physics but also offers a crucial basis for practical applications. For continuous-variable (CV) systems, Gaussian states among others have been extensively studied, however, mostly confined to Gaussian measurements. While the fulf...
متن کاملNon-Gaussian states by conditional measurements
We address realistic schemes for the generation of non-Gaussian states of light based on conditional intensity measurements performed on correlated bipartite states. We consider both quantum and classically correlated states and different kind of detection, comparing the resulting non Gaussianity parameters upon varying the input energy and the detection efficiency. We find that quantum correla...
متن کاملDriving non-Gaussian to Gaussian states with linear optics
We introduce a protocol that maps finite-dimensional pure input states onto approximately Gaussian states in an iterative procedure. This protocol can be used to distill highly entangled bipartite Gaussian states from a supply of weakly entangled pure Gaussian states. The entire procedure requires only the use of passive optical elements and photon detectors, which solely distinguish between th...
